MAYBELLINE NEW YORK
FAKE OUT OF HOME (FOOH)
FOOH or Fake Out-Of-Home is a new advertising trend that is revolutionising the traditional approach to out-of-home advertising. What once took an integrated campaign of billboards, metro-lights and shoppables combined, millions of people can now be reached through one cleverly curated online piece.

Provided with the task of localising the viral Maybelline NY London Underground work, we created a lash look fit for the Sydney Harbour ferries. Set by the iconic Opera House these ferries were given a set of surreal, pumped-up lashes, creating another TikTok sensation in the series. The video gained considerable traction reaching over 3 million in just 28 hours, causing a stir of viewers questioning “is it real?”.

Breaking convention and embracing 3D tech, FOOH offers a new way for brands to connect with their audiences in a memorable and engaging way, not to mention enjoyable to create too. And we’ve had many of our current clients request their very own bespoke FOOH highlight their own products in an attention grabbing 10 second online video. Stay tuned for a few more over the coming months, including a possible sequel to our MNY false lashes ferry.
